The spa features a new "release valve" that automatically releases excess air when the pressure inside the spa is between 0.103 and 0.172 bar, while maintaining the original inflating and deflating functions.

Electronic hard water treatment system - Electronic limescale protection system

Hard water causes calcium deposits, which significantly reduces the efficiency and lifespan of heaters and filter pumps. The INTEX electronic scale protection system prevents this deposit. This significantly extends efficiency and durability; in addition, soft water feels softer on the skin.

Automatic disinfection – chlorine generator built into the SPA system

Effortlessly maintain your hot tub's hygiene with the integrated chlorine generator. The Intex Greystone's Saltwater System automatically generates natural chlorine from salt dissolved in water—no need to manually add chemicals.

How does it work?

• You add a small amount of pure salt to the spa water.
• The built-in electrolyzer converts salt into active chlorine, which effectively combats bacteria, algae and pollutants.
• This process takes place automatically and cyclically, keeping the water in perfect condition throughout use.
• Chlorine naturally turns back into salt after the cycle is complete – the system is therefore efficient, safe and skin-friendly.

Cover

Whirlpool's cover eliminates water evaporation while also providing thermal insulation. The cover can be closed at any time, for example, as a child-proof lock.

Filling the 795-liter tank depends on water pressure, but typically takes about 30-60 minutes. Water heats at a rate of 1.5-2.5°C per hour, so depending on the initial water temperature, it can take about 8-12 hours to fully heat up.

✅ Is the assembly complicated?

No, assembly is very simple and requires no tools. The spa can be inflated in minutes using the built-in pump, then simply filled with water and the heating system turned on.

✅ How often should the water be changed?

The frequency of water changes depends on the intensity of use and the use of chemicals. Regular use of a chemical floater and filter replacement can keep the water clean for several weeks. Regular testing of chlorine and pH levels is also recommended.

✅ How long do filters last and how to replace them?

Filters should be cleaned every few days and replaced every 2-4 weeks, depending on how often the spa is used. 

✅ How many people can use the SPA at the same time?

The Intex 28450 PureSpa is designed for 2-4 people. It provides a comfortable space for relaxation, but for maximum comfort, a maximum of 3 adults is recommended.

✅ Can I use essential oils or bath salts?

Essential oils and bath salts are not recommended, as they can damage the filtration system and affect the durability of the material. However, special spa-specific additives can be added to the water and are safe for the system.

✅ Does the SPA use a lot of electricity?

The spa is equipped with an energy-saving system, including an automatic heating timer, which helps reduce electricity consumption. Average energy consumption depends on frequency of use and ambient temperature, but with standard use, you can expect an average consumption of 2-3 kWh per day.

✅ Can the SPA be used on any surface?

It's best to place your spa on a stable, even, and smooth surface, such as grass, paving stones, a patio, or a protective mat. Avoid sharp stones, rough surfaces, and uneven ground, which can damage the base. If placing it on a balcony or patio, it's worth checking the subfloor's load-bearing capacity.
